Photo Friday: A Foggy Morning in Wrightsville
I know I said I’d update you all on the remainder of our trip to Florida, but last weekend I took these pics of a foggy morning in Wrightsville that are too cool not to share. I had intended to take pics of the sunrise reflecting over the Susquehanna (one of the coolest parts of my new commute – I’ve seen some amazing sunrises over the river), but instead of catching an amazing sunrise, I arrived to this:
Fog. Fog so thick I couldn’t even see the water! And it was freezing out too. I felt like I was in San Francisco. That’s the Market street bridge in the background. I have to say after numerous sunrise fails (like this one), I’m starting to realize how lucky I was to catch such a beautiful sunrise on my birthday.
I wasn’t the only one trying to navigate the fog. Without the context of the boat, the fog was literally so thick that you couldn’t tell where the water stopped and the sky began.
The fog eventually started to lift. It was really cool to see it roll off in the distance.
It started getting clearer and clearer and I could start making out small birds over the water.
So I will be back next week to warm you up with picture updates from Florida! Have a great weekend
