What’s up Wednesday?
How’s it going blogosphere? I’m back! Or well I’m attempting my comeback so that I can get ready to blog everyday for 25 Days of Giving! Speaking of which, anyone want to join us this year :D?
A lot has changed over the summer for me, the biggest change: I switched jobs. I’ve begun working as a Digital Marketing Strategist for a Marketing Agency in Lancaster. Basically I get to be a part of developing and implementing the digital strategy, as well as handle a little project management for a variety of clients. It’s challenging and exciting and something I’ve always wanted to do. So when they contacted me out of the blue, and the interviews went well, I couldn’t turn it down. When I say I’ve always wanted to do it, I’m not exaggerating. It’s documented as far back as my second grade yearbook that I wanted to be an “Advertiser” when I grew up. With a couple of degrees in Marketing and a background in digital marketing, this is just about as close as you could get. Plus, I’m a numbers gal so I get to use both sides of my brain: utilizing the easily accessible insights that digital marketing provides to drive the creative development of strategy. I think the hubs’ eyes just glazed over. Anyway…
After eight years at my old job, it’s been a pretty big adjustment and I really miss seeing all of my favorite old coworkers and York City vendors everyday, but I’m excited to tackle all of the new challenges that arise and get a ton of experience under my belt.
But enough about me! This next change is all about you! Sort of. I started a Flickr page so that y’all can see the ridiculous number of pictures I take but never post on the blog and so that I can organize all of my favorites. So far I’ve only posted pictures from this year up until July, but I plan to change that before the end of the year. You can check out the page here. Be forewarned, even if I’ve picked out my “favorites”, you will still likely see 15 pictures of nearly exactly the same sunrise. Nearly.
If you’re friends or family and have an account, you can add me as a friend and then you can see ALL of my personal pics of friends and family as well. The photo stream that is public does not contain those pictures. So if you’re family (Aunt Deb I was thinking of you when I did this!) and you want to scroll through hundreds of pics of my beautiful nieces, make an account!
So that is what is going on with me! How about you? How was your summer? Are you ready for Christmas :D? Hint hint.
